Sophisticated Gentleman, a new release from KennyK

Welcome and thank you for visiting today. It´s time again for a new challenge at Club KennyK and the theme this time is a favorite of mine - One for the Boys. I´ve made a masculine card using one of the brand new releases from KennyK. May I present Sophisticated Gentleman:

I had so much fun making this card. I´ve used a square base this time for a change and I´ve also made a square frame around the image using a Spellbinder die. Design papers are from Tim Holtz and I´ve cut out parts from the papers to decorate with, like the rulers and the tickets. I´ve made a pair of glasses using metal wire, you could spot them on the newspaper beside the hat. The image is colored with Polychromos pencils.

Here you can see the glasses

All the new releases are available at www.kennykstamps.com

Recipe
Design papers Tim Holtz
Coredinations grey with white core and purple with pink core
Cardstock purple and black
The Clocks I´ve made with stamps from Tim Holtz, black or purple cardstock and white embossing powder (one is made using the designpaper) The Clock at the top is a die from Technique Tuesday
The bottles are stamps from Crafty Indiiduals, black cardstock and white embossing powder
Dies from Tim Holtz, Magnolia, Spellbinders, Marianne Design, Technique Tuesday, Artistic Impressions
The newspaper I bought in a store for doll houses
The glasses I´ve made using metal wire

Freebie Challenge at Club KennyK

Hello everyone and thank you for visiting today. It´s time again for a new challenge over at Club KennyK and if you want to participate make sure your project features one of this months freebies, Da Bomb or Tori Famous

I have used Da Bomb for my tag, she´s such a cool chick. Love her!

The background with Times Square I made with a stamp from Deep Red and black embossing powder. The red splatch is made with Distress Stain barn door. The police car is a die cut from a Cheery Lynn die and I´ve used a little of my aluminum tape again to get the look. Other dies I´ve used are from Memory Box, Tim Holtz and Magnolia. The base tag I made using a Crealies die. The little red car is made of wood and colored with Distress Stain barn door. I´ve sprinkled a little black embossing powder on the stars, the skyline and the filmstrips.

Have a lovely day!

Hugs, Lisa
